How can I book a course?
- Bookings can be made electronically via our secure website or by contacting us directly via email to request a place.
- Please note that course fees are payable in full at the time of booking.
What is the maximum number of learners per course?
- Each course will have a maximum capacity of up to 10 learners per instructor.
- Pre-hospital care courses run on a 6:1 ratio due to the intense learning demands.
- Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
- Learners may cancel any order of courses within 14 days of purchase for a full refund of course fees.
- Cancellation after 14 days will result in the loss of all course fees.
- Cancellation or refund will not be offered once a learner has commenced on a course.

Can I reschedule my course if I can't attend?
- Yes, you may request to reschedule onto a later course date (must be the same course title and commence within 6 months of the original booking).
- This request must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the start of the booked course, and a £30 administration fee will apply.
Where are your training courses held?
All courses are held at Close Protection Academy, Unit 213 Mirror Works, 12 Marshgate Lane, London, E15 2NH.
Is parking available at the venue?
- No, there is no parking available at the venue.
- We are easily accessible via public transport, with Pudding Mill Lane station only a 3-minute walk away.
What are the rules regarding attendance and punctuality?
- Punctuality is critical; due to awarding body requirements, learners must be present for all contact hours.
- Missing a significant period of the course may result in not being certified.
- If late or absent due to an emergency, please call 01277 526526 immediately.
Is lunch provided during the course?
- No, lunch is NOT provided. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.
- You may purchase food from the on-site café or bring your own packed lunch.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement, as the course involves practical, scenario-based training.
What are the physical and fitness requirements for the course?
- The course is physically demanding and requires active participation in all practical elements, including sustained periods of kneeling on the floor and lying down.
- If you have any pre-existing medical condition or injury, you must contact us prior to the course to discuss reasonable adjustments.
